Emphasizes an introduction to physical concepts, including stoichiometry, gas law, atomic and molecular structure, thermochemistry, chemical bonding, liquids and solutions, equilibrium, chemical kinetics and electrochemistry. Lecture three hours and laboratory three hours per week (4 credit hours).
