Description

This is the first course in a series of three that introduces students to the knowledges, valves, skills, and empowering processes of generalist social work practice, from an Afrocentric approach, emphasizing work on the micro (individual) level. Special attention will be paid to interventions with marginalized and oppressed peoples. Prerequisite: SOSW 203. For social work majors only.
