As the second course in the generalist practice sequence, this course builds upon the knowledge and skills introduced in SOSW 353. The focus will be on the development of knowledge, values, skills, and empowering processes of generalist social work practice practice on the mezzo(families and groups) level, from an Afrocentric approach. group leadership skills will be introduced. Prerequisite: SOSW 203, SOSW 353. For social work majors ONLY.
