Description

Basic morphology, physiology, genetics and classification industry, elements of immunology. Laboratory exercises include basic staining and culture techniques, physiology, and identification of microorganisms. The course is designed for pre-professional students, including medical, paramedical, nutrition, health, teaching and environmental fields. Lecture three hours and laboratory three hours (4 credit hours). Prerequisites: BIO 114/124 and four hours of Chemistry, preferably 174.
