Survey of World Religions (PHRE 253)

Description

An introduction to world religions in a global context, this course offering will introduce students to the essential perspectives and practices of non-traditional religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Daoism, Confucianism, JUdaism, Christianity, and Islam. The course will enable the studentto identify shared characteristics found in all religious traditins as well as to identify the unique qualities and strengths particular to each religious tradition. Offered every Spring semester. Prerequisite: successful completion of ENG 113 Composition I and ENG 123 Composition II.
